Frequently Asked Questions

A few practical answers before you start your first pattern.

Yes. You can upload an image and edit a pattern without signing in. Sign in to a Free account to export Image, PDF, SVG, XLSX or JSON: 3 exports per UTC day, shared across all five formats, for one physical board with up to 16 used colors. Free Image exports use Standard 1280px; Free files keep Beadify branding.

Use Compare to crop, shape and adjust the source beside the preview. Apply it, refine individual beads and palette choices in Pattern, then move to Crafting to focus on colors and mark placed beads. Undo and Redo remain available while you refine the Pattern.

Dashboard lets you continue recent Patterns and organize them in folders. Image Assets keeps reusable sources and optional saved Image exports; both share the same asset capacity. A Project can stay local in this browser, or you can sign in and sync before switching devices. Free accounts can manually sync up to 10 projects; Pro supports automatic sync for up to 500.

Open Tasks & credits in your account, even after closing the original page. Ready AI results stay available privately for 72 hours from when they first become viewable. Download or choose Save to Assets before the date shown beside each result; only that choice uses asset capacity. If the status is uncertain, Check status looks up the same task without generating again. Applying a result to a Pattern is a separate choice.

Yes. Mark the color types you own in Inventory, then choose Stash in the Editor. Stash limits available colors; it does not track bead quantities, so use the Pattern's color-usage counts to check materials.

No. Preview Image, PDF, SVG, XLSX and JSON before exporting; only the final Export action counts. If sign-in is required, Beadify returns to the same Project or local draft and restores the format you selected.

Print instruction pages at 100% / Actual size with Fit to page turned off. Ten grid intervals should measure 26 mm for Mini or 50 mm for Midi in both directions. Use number or symbol cell labels with the color-usage legend when similar shades are hard to tell apart.

Pro is needed for custom exact-size patterns, multi-board exports, exports with more than 16 used colors, and 2K or 4K Image exports. It also removes the daily export limit and lets you hide Beadify branding on supported formats. Free can use all five formats within its limits.
